their Tour Manager was insanely rad, and hooked me up to shoot pretty much anything from anywhere the whole night. i always get jazzed to shoot onstage, and i usually just find myself standing and watching from the best seat in the house. i am a lucky dude.
after the show ended i got a ride from my sweet buddy Ethan (the new drummer of Relient K) and headed to our 1 a.m. bus call.
this was my first time sleeping on a bus! and it was a treat. haha. like sleeping in a coffin, as ethan put it.
it was hard to sleep at first, but i freaking woke up at 12 pm in Ohio! hahahaha.
the dudes were nice enough to pose for a few shots....which may or may not be used on their upcoming "Tennis Ep". get it???
then, we all worked together for a great show.....not me so much. but i got in there. again, on stage....so fun.
special thanks to the crew, and the RK dudes, Matt, Matt, Jon, John and Ethan. thanks for allowing me to hitch a ride!!! so fun.

My friend went to the Ohio show, and she filmed part of Scene And Herd and sent it to me later that night.. I'm pretty sure I saw you in the background shooting photos.. haha
I wanna see more live photos of Thrice and RK.. What I want to see even more though is the possible Tennis EP photos.. Cause I have yet to see a group shot of rk with Ethan in it.. :)
that bottom shot is plainly beautiful. it manages to be soft and yet sharp.
I love the way you captured the three almost parallel angled lines in both the guitar necks and the string of lights in the upper right hand corner....also the way the curve of his arm on the left of the photo compliments the curve of his leg on the right of it. Dang good--not only lighting and color wise, but composition wise it's spot on chap!
