sorry after a week of my old hosting being a bunch of a.....um.....meanies....

site delay and phone-ocalypse

well the site is just about finished. gabe, tj and josh have done some fabulous work.
we are waiting for the transfer of my domain to switch servers.....then we launch! so give us just another few days.

iphone users have been getting jacked all morning.
i was gonna write about how mine is broken and making me mad, but as i write....it is starting to sync.
guess it didn't want to get bad mouthed on my blog.

sucker.

possible last post?

so as all of you know, this tuesday i'm launching my new site.
this is my possible last post on here.

this weekend we had our Outside: i Art Show fundraiser, and it was a total success! We had an amazing time and raised some funds for our up coming trip to South Africa. (thanks again to all who came out!)
i'll post those photos once the site is up and runnin'!!!

tonight i hung out with Andy's girlfriend Lindsay to do a quick shoot for P is for Panda!

WARPED TOUR 2K8
It wouldn?t be summer at AP without our annual Warped Tour issue. Hydrogen plus Oxygen is to H2O as First-Wave DC Emo plus NYHC is to H2O. We?re not completely sure what that means, but we do know that when the band H2O brought together the latter elements, it flowed like water.

Salvation Mountain

on thursday i made a little pilgrimage out to niland Ca. why you ask? why would anyone go purposefully into the 108 degree desert? to check out Salvation Mountain, that's why.

Emma, Caleb, Nick, Elsie and I loaded into the compact car and hit the road. after hours of travels we arrived to our wonderful destination.





we began exploring the silent structure in awe. As we puttered around we eventually ran into Leonard Knight, the man behind this place.





Leonard shared stories with us, let us take his picture, gave us the tour.....just amazing.

after our time with him, we pilled back in the car and headed home to LA.

Birfday

Today i had the pleasure of spending my 26th birthday with one of my closest friends, Gabe Connor.
he and i hit up the warped tour for the day, and hung out with our buddies in Relient K. it was quite a blast.

we bummed around, laughed a little too much, worked for a sweet half hour, all on the cost in Ventura.

then cruised back to my house with Gabe and Jon Schneck for the night.

tomorrow we are gonna cruise to some movie sites that Schneck wants to see.
all in all, pretty rad day.

thanks for all the birthday wishes! really appreciate them guys. now you all take care....ok?

first Published Photos

Hey friends and family, just wanted you to know that you can go pick up your very own copy of AP (Alternative Press) Magazine today...where ever lots of magazines are sold!

head on down and grab a copy of the July 2008 issue, # 240.
then pop to page 72 and 73 for my first published photos!

And don't forget, next month this magazine will be running a 4 page spread on a trip i took a few weeks ago (featuring some of you!).

But you'll get an update about that.

Smashbox Studios

this is where i find myself today. in Los Angeles, CA at a big studio off of Santa Monica BLVD.

i have the pleasure of assisting a pretty incredible photog named Dave Hill.

we're doing an ad for Sony and Target. pretty cool, since i never do this kind of stuff.

anyway, it's pretty chill. just hanging out while the "talent" gets prettied up for the next shot.
